Delara Emtyazi
Delara is a recent graduate of Osgoode Hall Law School, where she actively participated in the mooting program and completed a full-semester placement as a caseworker at Parkdale Community Legal Services (PCLS). She was awarded the Hennick Business Law Internship and spent a summer with the in-house legal department at Mount Sinai Hospital, gaining valuable experience at the intersection of law, healthcare, and corporate governance.
Before entering law, Delara earned both her Honours Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees from the University of Toronto in 2020 and 2022, respectively. She majored in Neuroscience and Physiology during her undergraduate studies and went on to focus her graduate research on neuropsychiatry, specifically investigating neuromodulation and ultrasound-assisted drug delivery for the treatment of PTSD and anxiety-related disorders. Her work in this field has been published in several academic journals.
With her background in science, Delara has developed a strong interest in intellectual property, patent law, and litigation.
