Marc Mitri
Marc is a drug regulatory and intellectual property litigator in Toronto.
Marc received his JD from Queen’s University in 2024 and was called to the bar in 2025. While in law school, Marc was an active member of the Intellectual Property Society and completed several intellectual property courses. During his final year, Marc attended a term at ESADE University in Spain, where he studied European intellectual property law.
Marc earned his Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Western University in 2017. He further refined his passion and knowledge in science and technology by completing a Master’s in Innovation Management at the University of Toronto in 2018.
During his summer terms and articles, Marc received extensive training in intellectual property and commercial litigation at a large national law firm. He also completed a secondment in the legal department of a global beverage company.
Prior to law school, Marc worked in research, healthcare, and telecommunications. These experiences allowed him to engage deeply with biotechnology and cutting-edge innovations.
Marc is a member of the Toronto Intellectual Property Group, the Intellectual Property Institute of Canada, The Advocates’ Society, and the Law Society of Ontario.
