Sara Duaibes
Sara is a 2L summer student at Markwell Clarizio LLP. Sara attends Queen’s University Faculty of Law and serves on the Senior Board of the Queen’s Law Journal. Sara has worked as a Student Caseworker with Queen’s Legal Aid, where she assisted low-income clients with criminal, civil, and administrative law matters, and has volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada.
During her 1L summer, Sara gained in-house legal experience at a major innovative pharmaceutical company, which reinforced her interest in drug regulatory law and intellectual property.
Sara holds an Honours Bachelor of Science with distinction from Queen’s University, with a Life Science Specialization in Drug Discovery and Human Toxicology. She completed an honours thesis on a therapeutic vector for treating Sandhoff disease and contributed to rheumatology research at Toronto Western Hospital.
Sara’s scientific background and experiences shape her strong interest in the intersection of science, law, and innovation.
